Because we rented a car during our week in Curaçao, we were able to make some relatively quick drives to some Curaçao sites that we saw advertised for tours of this sourthern Caribbean island in the Dutch Caribbean.
One of these quick stops was the Santa Martha Bay View Lookout Point, which overlooks the Santa Martha Bay.
At the bottom of the hill with the road to the Santa Martha Bay overlook is a beautiful area.
The Santa Martha Bay overlook requires an approximately 45 minutes drive from Willemstad, is roughly 20 minutes drive from Sint Willibrordus, and is roughly 20-25 minutes drive from Shete Boka National Park.
We made a quick stop at Santa Martha Bay overlook on the day we saw the flamingos near Sint Willibrordus and visited Shete Boka National Park and adjacent Christoffel National Park.
Viewing Santa Martha Bay and surrounding area from the overlook provided an atypical view of Curaçao.
The overview is certainly worth the short detour.
