We did not get the opportunity to try snorkeling in the water near Playa Santa Cruz (Boca Santa Cruz) during our week in Curaçao.
We went to Playa Santa Cruz (shown in images immediately above and immediately below) to try and go on the Blue Room Experience, but it was canceled due to high waves near the cave.
This is another view of Playa Santa Cruz. As is the case with many of Curaçao's beaches, water shoes are recommended for at least parts of the beach.

Many of the tourists who go to Playa Santa Cruz likely do so to visit (and snorkel) the Blue Room.
