We headed to the Touris Club in Olympia after touring the archaeological site and museum.
We were provided simple instructions on preparing and cooking several Greek foods and then prepared them right there. The foods we prepared were:
- Kolokithokeftedes (zucchini-based fried appetizer)
- Tiropita (cheese pie)
- Tzatziki (one of my favorite dips and I did not realize that Greek yogurt is its base)
We ate some of the things we prepared and ate some items that were pre-cooked and available in a buffet. I wish I had thought to take these photographs of the tasty choices before we all helped ourselves.
The Touris Club is a beautiful facility. I don't show it in the photographs here, but there is a small museum as well with some interesting olympics instruments on display.

We really enjoyed learning about Greek cooking and sampling our work and the other great Greek dishes that were available for lunch.
