Magna Grecia Olive Oil Farm

After our tour of the Achaia Clauss Winery, we had the opportunity to tour Magna Grecia Olive Oil Farm in Olympia and have an exellent lunch there.

We saw equipment used to filter the olives.

The modern facility called The Olive Temple was interesting to see and learn about.

We saw different colors of olives and even pomegranates on the farm.

It was also interesting to see implements that were formerly used in making olive oil.

The lunch was excellent and featured four different flavors of olive oil.

Besides several different varieties of olive oil, the shop has numerous other items that can be purchased.

Because we were already in Olympia when we visited and toured the Magna Grecia Olive Oil Farm, we had a short drive to our hotel in Olympia.

We stayed the night in Olympia at Hotel Europa, located on Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia.

This was a very nice hotel and our dinner and breakfast at this hotel were both buffet style.

One of our favorite features of our room at Hotel Europa was the courtyard view from our room's balcony.
