The Panathenaic Stadium in Athens (Greece) is where the first modern Olympic games was held in 1896.
It was fitting that the modern Olympics would be held in the same country in which they started.
We didn't have time to enter the stadium or take the tour, but it was interesting to see the stadium from the outside.
This photograph shows a closeup of some of the Olympics flags and Greek flags.
There are also great views of the Acropolis from the Panathenaic Stadium.
